Our Initiatives

TAMA members work together to tackle some of the toughest challenges facing manufacturing in Oklahoma, and on a larger scale, the United States. TAMA works with area chambers to communicate Green Country's manufacturing strength, craftsmanship, and innovation. The organization also has a strong emphasis on growing Oklahoma jobs, and educating future generations about careers in manufacturing. Here's just a few of the initiatives we support:

Dream It Do It Oklahoma

Dream It Do it is a coalition of workforce, education and industry professionals dedicated to raising awareness of manufacturing careers in Oklahoma.

TAMA Scholarships

We provide scholarships to students in manufacturing-related programs at Oklahoma technical schools or colleges. Entry deadlines are in March of each year.

Professional Enrichment and Networking

Each month, TAMA holds plant tours or after-hours networking opportunities for members and guests. Each event brings something new to the table, to examine how others in the area are creating and implementing best practices on their manufacturing floors.

Fundraising for Educational Programs

TAMA believes in supporting educational programs that will create and inspire the next generation of manufacturing professionals. We work with local schools to sponsor and host Career Pathways Fairs and Road Trip for Teacher programs.
